Otrokovice Heating Plant Supports Domestic Hospice

Otrokovice (12.1. 2015) - The Otrokovice Heating Plant has supported the Center for Pain Treatment and Palliative Medicine. A donation of CZK 40 thousand will be used for buying equipment for the domestic hospice “Most k domovu Zlín”.

Otrokovice Heating Plant Expands and Modernizes Hot Water Network

Otrokovice (15.12. 2014) - The Otrokovice Heating Plant is expanding its hot water network and is building connections to new customers. The company has invested CZK 35 million in expansion and modernization of the networks this year. 

No Increase in Prices from Otrokovice Heating Plant

Otrokovice (4. 12. 2014) - The customers of the Otrokovice Heating Plant are not going to pay more for heat next year. The price for households will be the same as this year, CZK 505 including VAT. The company has kept the same price level since 2013 a ranks among the cheapest heating plants in the Czech Republic.

Zlín (29.5.2014) - The Otrokovice Heating Plant has concluded a Mutual Cooperation Agreement with the town of Zlín, based on which, with the support of the heating plant, the town will repair a playground.

Otrokovice Heating Plant Ends Heating Season

Otrokovice (20.5.2014) - The Otrokovice Heating Plant has ended the heating season that started last year on September 17. Due to the mild winter, which was one of the warmest for the last few decades, the heat supply went down by about 15 percent.

Otrokovice Heating Plant Invests in Extending Its Network to New Customers

Otrokovice (5.5.2014) - The most important projects of the Otrokovice Heating Plant this year include connecting new customers in Napajedla and a reconstruction of the distribution system in the industrial area Moravan in Otrokovice. Both projects start in May and the total investment will amount to CZK 27 million.

The shopping center has extended the range of new customers connected to the hot water distribution network of the Heating Plant.

Start of Heating Season

Otrokovice (17.9.2014) - The Otrokovice Heating Plant started the new heating season this morning. According to the decree of the Ministry of Industry and Trade it starts on 1 September and ends on 31 May. Heating within this period starts when the average temperature of two consecutive days drops below 13 degrees of Celsius and it is not expected to go up again. Last year the heating season for the Otrokovice Heating Plant began on 21 September. The company is ready to respond to the further development of the weather situation. If it gets warmer within the next few days, heating can be stopped again.
